Interpreting the Constitution
The purpose of the Supreme Court is to interpret the Constitution and ensure that the Legislative and Executive branches, as well as those of the states, are acting within the supreme law of the land.
Recently, the workload of the Justices has become severe. Several are reaching the point where they can no longer adequately research cases coming before them. They have asked you to tackle three cases that are currently up for debate and present to them your findings. Is the law constitutional? How did you come to this conclusion? Your job is extremely important, as it will set a precedent for all future cases on this topic.
The Supreme Court is very grateful for your assistance! They expect your final presentations on Thursday, January 12th.
