In this course we study the history of our nation from Exploration & Colonization to the Civil War & Reconstruction. We examine the history, sociology, economy, and geography of the United States with a special emphasis on the Constitution, citizenship, and foundations of our government. We explore the people, places, and events that make the United States so unique while utilizing critical thinking skills and applying the concepts we learn about the past to the events happening in our lives today.
